IT MGMT vs
The NetSys Group

The clearest difference is the agreement: NetSys advertises month-to-month service; IT MGMT Business IT has a three-year term. Start there, then compare the support behind each proposal.

Confirmed directory areas: Brooklyn (Kings), NYC. Office locations and advertised coverage are distinguished in the table. Confirm your address directly.

This compares published service information, not independently tested performance or private client contracts. “Not stated” means a detail needs confirmation, not that a service is unavailable. Read our method or jump to the comparison table.

Compare another provider

Start with how much flexibility you need.

If you are looking for a NetSys alternative, put the agreement near the top of your list. Its published month-to-month option may be a better fit if avoiding a long commitment is your priority. IT MGMT offers monthly or annual billing within a three-year Business IT agreement. Paying monthly does not change that term.

Think about an upcoming office move, business sale or change in headcount. Ask both providers what happens to covered users, equipment and charges when your circumstances change. Compare cancellation notice, renewal and offboarding responsibilities in the actual proposals.

A direct number is useful. The response terms still matter.

Both providers describe direct access to a dedicated contact. That alone does not establish which company will be the better fit for your team. Discuss a situation that would stop your business, such as losing access to scheduling or accounting, and ask who takes ownership after hours.

NetSys lists critical-issue phone and remote response commitments. IT MGMT separates its reported averages from its 24-hour contractual first-response guarantee. Those are different measures, so the smallest number in a comparison is not enough to choose a provider.

  • What makes an issue critical, and how do you report it?
  • When does the response clock start, and what pauses it?
  • What happens if your usual contact is unavailable?
  • Which situations need an onsite visit, and what does that cost?

Plan the handoff before setting an end date.

NetSys describes a transition with an overlap period and ownership checks. IT MGMT typically plans 1–3 weeks for onboarding, depending on access and complexity. Neither description is a reason to cancel your existing support before replacement coverage is ready.

Ask each provider to put access transfer, backup verification, tool changes and employee instructions into a written transition plan. Use our switching IT providers guide to work through ownership and offboarding. The goal is a clear handoff with someone responsible for each step.

WHAT TO WEIGH

Where the fit may differ.

If a month-to-month agreement matters most, NetSys explicitly advertises that option. Both companies describe direct access to someone who knows your business.
