Security Camera & Access Control Installation

Security cameras & access control.
Installed around your space.

Know what your cameras cover. Decide who can open each door. IT MGMT designs and installs security cameras and access control for businesses and homes, with the cabling, network setup and practical handover that make the system usable.

01

See what matters. Control who gets in.

A good installation starts with the property and the people using it. We walk through the entrances, shared spaces and areas you want to cover, then define a system and a written project scope.

Security cameras

Plan camera positions, lighting, fields of view and recording needs. Review who can watch, search or export footage, and what should stay outside the camera’s view.

Door access control

Identify the doors, authorized users and access schedules. Review existing door hardware, power and cabling before selecting equipment or committing to an installation.

The network underneath

Plan network connections, equipment power and recording storage together. Agree how the system will be administered and how authorized remote access will work.

02

Your business. Your home. A plan for each.

For businesses and managed properties

Review entrances, reception areas, stockrooms and shared spaces. Define who can issue or revoke access, who owns the system and how staff or vendor changes are handled.

For multi-unit or leased properties, include the responsible property manager and confirm access and installation permissions before work begins.

Plan a business installation

For homes and home offices

Review entryways and the areas you want to monitor, along with household permissions and secure access to recordings. We assess the home network, wiring and existing devices before recommending a setup.

Camera and access-control installation is scoped as a project. Equipment and installation are confirmed separately from any ongoing Home IT plan.

From walkthrough to a system you can use.

01 / Walk the property

Discuss the problem you want to solve. Review camera views, doors, equipment locations, lighting and practical cable routes.

02 / Agree the design

Confirm equipment, recording storage, network requirements, access permissions, price and installation responsibilities in writing.

03 / Install and verify

Mount the agreed equipment, run and label the planned cabling, configure accounts and network access, then check camera views, recording playback and authorized door entry.

04 / Hand over with confidence

Show the authorized people how to find footage, manage access and handle everyday tasks. Document who administers the system and what ongoing support covers.

04

Physical security needs a secure network.

Cameras and access controllers are connected devices. Their setup needs the same attention to accounts, updates and network permissions as the rest of your technology.

  • Replace default credentials and define individual administrative access where the system supports it.
  • Plan separation from guest and sensitive business traffic, then test the connections the system needs.
  • Agree on recording retention, storage capacity and who may export footage.
  • Define responsibility for firmware updates, equipment faults and any ongoing monitoring.

We use Ubiquiti for camera, access-control and network projects. We assess existing equipment and compatibility during the walkthrough; reuse is confirmed in the scope.

Explore our network and cabling services, business cybersecurity or Home Wi-Fi and network support when the project also needs a stronger connection.

05

Clear scope before installation starts.

Your proposal should identify the cameras and doors covered, cable routes, equipment, recording requirements and handover. Building access, any additional electrical or door work, and coordination with other contractors are confirmed before scheduling.

Ask about support after the project: who manages users, checks device health, applies updates and responds to a fault. Ongoing support and monitoring depend on the agreed service arrangement.
