IT MGMT vs
Integrated Computer Services

A non-tiered help desk and both fully managed and co-managed options. Consider ICS if co-managed responsibilities and its published help-desk structure match your needs.

Confirmed directory areas: Bergen, NJ · Rockland, NY · Hudson, NJ. Office locations and advertised coverage are distinguished in the table. Confirm your address directly.

This compares published service information, not independently tested performance or private client contracts. “Not stated” means a detail needs confirmation, not that a service is unavailable. Read our method or jump to the comparison table.

Compare another provider

Decide who owns the work when you already have IT staff.

ICS offers a co-managed option. If you have someone handling technology internally, write down which jobs stay with that person and which move to the provider. Include employee requests, security alerts, vendor calls and approval of account changes.

Bring that responsibility list to IT MGMT as well. Two teams having access is not the same as two teams agreeing who acts. Ask how unresolved work passes between teams and who tells your employees what is happening.

Read Integrated Computer Services’s published service information.

Compare the escalation path, not just the first number.

A non-tiered help desk can be worth discussing if your team frequently repeats the same problem to several people. Ask ICS to walk through a server outage from the first call to the engineer responsible for restoring service.

IT MGMT gives clients a dedicated representative and direct cellphone access. For either arrangement, ask what happens when the first contact is busy. Compare written response definitions separately from averages and from the time needed to finish a repair.
