Home Wi-Fi room check
Use the same phone or laptop for the first comparison. Check that it is on your home Wi-Fi. Try the activity that normally fails, then record what happens. No passwords, account details or signup needed.
On a phone, swipe across the table to see every column.
| Where / comparison | Device and time | Activity / result | Other use in the home |

| Wired comparison, if available | |||
| After one change |
What does the pattern suggest?
- Good near the router, poor in another room: investigate coverage and placement.
- Only one device struggles: check that device before replacing the whole network.
- Poor throughout the house, including a wired comparison: ask your provider or IT support to investigate service and equipment.
A speed result is one clue, not a diagnosis. Keep normal security protections in place. Change one thing, then repeat your usual activity.
